Finished 28mm Late Saxons

Four late Saxon Fyrd. Round shields and spears apart from one brandishing his Seax. A mixture of different armours and helmets and a hatless man sporting the same hair style as me.

Four Saxon Housecarls, with Norman style kite shields and hauberks. A mix of helmets styles, including one that might be a loaner from Stamford Bridge a few days earlier. All wielding their Dane Axes. My axe heads are a bit on the large side but my original 'scale' versions looked a bit puny.
