I've not posted for a while. No excuses, I've been off pursuing other hobbies and interests. Santa was kind and I received my Sharpe Blu-Ray box set this year and the Napoleonic itch requires scratching once more. I have bought some Victrix hard plastic figures and here is a test of a group of four Peninsular French.
Lovely figures and a joy to paint and glue.
Bases are card with sand and coffee grounds glued painted and flocked.

Very very nice. A unit of these will look fantastic. Great work.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking a look Roger. I felt a bit guilty I had never visited your blog so I clicked through and the realised I had been watching yours via TMP for ages!
DeleteWhat happened with the 1/72 project? It was looking good and now I see Victrix :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Marc, the 1/72 project is still ongoing but I am easily distracted (all my old school reports say so).
DeleteThose bases are superb. I've used sawdust and kitty litter but this looks better.
ReplyDeleteCheers fella, coffee is so fragrant as well. I may end up with the best smelling 28mm army in the world.
